Often referred to as "Ditch Plain(s)" or Oceanside.........this has to be the one of the most popular "beach community" areas in Montauk. Famous for its great surfing, and ocean swimming, it is "South of the Highway" and is accessible by walking, usually only one or few blocks to the beach.
